Scotts Valley High School
SHOW DETAILS
The 2026 Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show will once again be held at Scotts Valley High School in Scotts Valley, California. The 2025 show featured an amazing collection of vintage bikes and some of the highest-quality bikes we've seen. The Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club, Motocharities, Motonexus.com, and all our sponsors have partnered to bring you The 2026 Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show.

New This Year:
-
More space, the show is moving to the upper athletic fields
-
A special FOR SALE area (display motorcycles for sale - this is not a swap meet).
-
Bring your for-sale bikes, display the price, and phone so buyers can find you at the show.
-
The for-sale area is a fenced space close to the show field
-
You can sell and show bikes for trophies
-
-
The Japanese class has been consolidated into two classes instead of three
-
There will be one trophy per class, plus the coveted Best of Show award
-
We've added a Display Class. Created for youth to display eBikes, but everyone is welcome.
-
There will be no swap meet this year.
-
Spectators are required to purchase a ticket
Last year and this year, all our costs for hosting and promoting the show have increased. The Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show is more than just a good time for motorcycle enthusiasts. We host this show to raise funds for the local schools and important charities. Our partnership with the Scotts Valley Kiwanis Club, a 501(c) 3 charitable organization, makes this possible. This year, to cover costs and continue passing donations on to the Kiwanis Club, we needed to raise entry fees, add a small spectator ticket fee, and explore other ways to raise funds without imposing an undue burden. The Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show is still one of the lowest-cost, judged motorcycle shows on the West Coast.
PLEASE ADD support@motonexus.com to your email contacts so our emails don't end up in your spam or junk folder. Motonexus provides technical and financial support to the Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show. Emails will be sent from support@motonexus.com.

The Scotts Valley Motorcycle Show welcomes motorcycles in original stock condition, restored, unrestored, and customized. Please select the appropriate class for judging when you register. Trophies will be awarded for First Place only in each class.
The Japanese Class is divided by decade to provide more opportunities for entrants, given the significant differences across decades. If you have a Scrambler, we ask that you enter the Scrambler class.

The Scrambler Class is intended for street-legal bikes that have a high exhaust pipe and other manufacturer features designed for off-road riding.

The Custom and eBike classes have no model year restrictions. Customs can be made by any manufacturer in any year. We encourage all eBike manufacturers and home-built eBikes to enter the eBike class to display your latest models, innovations, and creativity.
The Display Only Class We encourage youth eBike riders to polish and enter their bikes in the Display class. There are no trophies in this class. You may bring any type of motorcycle, minibike, scooter, or eBike for the display class, regardless of year. Just come, have fun, and show us what you've got! Image: By Macfox Bike

The Competition-Road Class is for any bike designed to compete on paved courses. This would include road racing, drag bikes, etc.
The Competition-Off Road Class is for any bike designed to compete on off-road courses. This would include motocross, hillclimbers, enduro, etc.
The Minibike Class is for small bikes with a maximum 10" wheel diameter. Examples include the Taco, Bonanza, Doodle Bug, Go-Devil, Honda Z50, and other bikes of this type.

The Scooter Class is for bikes that typically have a leg shield. This would include Vespa, Lambretta, Honda Cubs, etc.

The RAD Class is restricted to motorcycles from 1980-1999 that capture the essence of this bodacious era. We encourage owners and their guests to dress in period-correct attire when displaying in the RAD Class. The RAD Class is as much about the VIBE as the quality of the motorcycle. Points are awarded for period-correct attire. For more detail on the RAD class, check out https://www.radwood.com/

Barn Find Unrestored bikes are still in original condition, with original parts, bodywork, and paint, even if they're rusted. Extra points may be awarded to Unrestored bikes that are still operational and licensed to ride. Judges will not mark down for replacing tires, spark plugs, and other general maintenance items. This class is open to all makes and models in any use class.
Signage: Entrants may bring signage detailing the motorcycle's features, historical significance, race history, and provenance. We ask that signage be kept to a nominal size to avoid obstructing other bikes on display. Professional "show Boards" are encouraged. Tool kits, manuals, and other historical accessories may be displayed separately in shadow boxes or in any other discrete, creative way. Underside mirrors are welcome.
The show will provide a display plaque identifying the owner, the bike's make, model, and year.
Boards for Center/Side Stands: A limited number of boards will be available to place under your center or side stand. Look for buckets on the field and at registration check-in filled with black-painted boards. You are encouraged to bring your own board. WE DO NOT ALLOW BIKES TO USE CENTER OR SIDE STANDS DIRECTLY ON THE LAWN.
Bikes with no stand will need to provide a display stand or box. Mini bikes may be displayed on elevated stands or small tables. Please ensure these displays are substantial to prevent accidents.
Motorcycles on display compete for trophies but also for the enjoyment and entertainment of the spectators. This is a family event; many children are always excited to see the motorcycles. In many ways, the motorcycle show is educational and inspirational for the children. Please ensure your display is appropriate for the entire family. We encourage entrants to engage with spectators and answer questions.
